About Us
The need for Glove Benefits was born In 2019, the Departments of Labor, Treasury, and Health and Human Services introduced a game-changing solution: the Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA). This innovative approach allows employers to offer the same tax advantages as traditional group health insurance—without the hassle of selecting or managing plans. Instead, businesses can provide employees with tax-free funds to purchase their own health insurance.
Many industry experts expected something like this with the passage of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), but it didn’t happen—leading to challenges in the individual health insurance exchanges in the early years.
Fast forward to today, and ICHRA has helped drive a surge in individual health plan enrollments, positioning itself as a vital force in revitalizing and strengthening the individual marketplace.
What Makes Us Different
The rise of Insurtech has flooded the ICHRA marketplace with private equity-backed technology companies chasing profits. When Uncle Sam creates new tax incentives and health insurance rules—people pay attention.
But here’s the problem:
